Ami's Book

Me, Joyce, Sarah

I sent Ami's book to Joyce last Thursday night. The post office clerk said that the air-mail planes fly everyday. I thought Sarah would come back, so drew her.

I apologize to all, especially to Ami.

I've been kept Ami's notebook. Actually I didn't know what should I draw around that time, but after the earthquake, I realized that I have no time. Tried to draw and send it to Joyce as soon as possible, because if the nuclear accident got worse, it may not get outside of Japan.
In the meantime, things are getting worse. I read a news about the accident was level7 the same as Chernobyl, a couple of hours ago on the internet.
I think I'll be able to check Ami's Moleskine at the post office by Thursday. Nothing changes in Tokyo at the moment. If someone don't want to accept mails through Japan, e-mail me. I don't blame anyone. Anyway, I apologize to all members, especially to Ami. I'm really sorry. Thank the people who support, donate, and pray for us. I don't give up on my country.

Hi y'all.

After I get through this moly_xhibit stuff and get a few new groups settled I will focus on a few of these portrait groups. Meantime, can you all put on a search for the books? Please please please, if you are holding books let us all know. We want to have some fun.

Work in Progress....

Hello to everyone. I hope you're all well. That's fantastic news from Marty about the exhibition, I would love to be part of that.

Just to let you know that I now have both Miwa and Mauricio's books and will be working on them over the next few weeks.

I've had a very busy summer as I've just finished at university on a teacher training course. I'm very keen to get the momentum going on this so will keep you posted on progress.

Call for Entries

I am thrilled that moly_x will be exhibiting at Minnesota Center of Book Arts (MCBA), between mid-January through March 2011. It's coming up! This is a great venue, and this exhibit could mean some wonderful opportunities for other exhibitions around the country, and possible grants. This is a very receptive community.

I would like a few of the great portrait books from this group. These books do not have to be completed. If you have a book right now would you consider sending it to me next. It will be out of circulation through March, but it will get some wonderful attention. I will guarantee it's safe return, or delivery to the next artist on the list.

MCBA does a great job of documenting their shows, so you will have a nice record. Whoever is in the book may add another credit to her/his resumé. We will continue to look for other similar venues for moly_x exhibitions. There are many book art institutions like this around the country, and there are many university book arts, and illustration programs.

I have dreamed of this exhibit since we started this little project. I would like to get 2 or 3 portrait books from this group.

Thanks for you help.
